Martellato Support

Martellato opens straight into This Week with a sample season already loaded, so you can see how everything works before you enter your own choir's music and roster.

• Pieces — add your season's music, set its octave range and difficulty, and build the ringer chart for each position.
• Ringers — build your roster, mark who can sub for which position, and track attendance.
• Rehearsal — plan timed blocks, run the rehearsal timer, take attendance, and log the night.
• Techniques — a reference for handbell and handchime notation, from LV to Mart to Gyro.

Everything you enter is saved on your device automatically. There is no account to create and nothing to sync.

Does Martellato play bell sounds?

No. Martellato is a charting and planning tool, not an instrument. It never plays audio.

Does Martellato include sheet music?

No. Martellato never stores or displays copyrighted sheet music. The sample season uses public-domain hymn and folk tunes only.

Will I lose my data if I reinstall the app?

Martellato stores everything locally on your device only, with no cloud backup. Deleting or reinstalling the app clears its data, so back up your device regularly through iOS if that matters to you.

Why does Martellato ask for camera or photo access?

The camera is used only to photograph how your tables and bells are laid out for a piece, so you can recreate the setup later. The photo picker lets you choose an existing photo for a table layout or a ringer's portrait. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
